The Quantum Reality Interpretation as It Should Be

Never physicists will be able to grip the reality as long as they rely on the current contradictory concepts of the macro and micro realm. The advent of quantum theory makes the picture of the micro world seem so outlandish that physicists give up describing its actual reality. They stick, instead, solely to mathematical formalism in place of the physical pictures of the reality.

Physicists, on the other hand, are more confident with their picture of macroscopic reality as described in the relativity theory; at least that is what they think. However, they are wrong. The relativity theory wrongly takes the spacetime model of the primeval universe for the actual world.

In the current [Minkowski] 4-dimensional spacetime model, physicists assume that the inextricable space and time dimensions are inherently dissimilar a). is where physicists fall into the pit. In an entirely unified state, space and time dimensions are equivalent. In such a state, the world is fully symmetric, continuous, isotropic and static.

This static and eternal world is not the actual world which we are familiar with. In such a world, there was yet neither locality b) nor movement as there was no space for matter to exist, and no time for the matter to move. There was absolutely nothing; not even single matter existed but energy c). It was the primeval universe d), the embryo of the actual universe.

So how and why space and time become so different as what they are now?

In a cosmic scale, energy as a whole is geometrically manifested by its corresponding spacetime which dimensions reflex the degree of freedom of the energy as a whole. By itself, energy consists of two opposite parts, the positive and negative energy, which tend to segregate from each other turning the highly symmetric spacetime to become extremely unstable. As the positive and negative energy split gradually, a 3-dimensional [expanding] hypersurface (space) e) naturally takes place in between. We call such grand cosmic split phenomenon spontaneous symmetry breaking.

Now here we come to a significant milestone that marks the beginning of time, the birth of the actual world. As the hypersurface came into being, the dimensions of the spacetime started to differentiate; those along its surface became spatial while normal to it became temporal. It is along this hypersurface that locality is taking place while the vast spacetime outside it non-locality reigns.

It is precisely the elucidation related to Niel Bohr saying that the world around us is real, but it floats on a world that is not as real. The 3-dimensional localized hypersurface is the Bohr's real-world floating on the unreal vast non-localized 4-dimensional spacetime embedding the hypersurface. "There is no deep reality," was his confusing doctrine known as Copenhagen interpretation.

The continuous interaction between the two opposing energies perpetually creates and annihilates the hypersurface (space) f) together with the quantum sparks (“quarks”) on its surface g). The reality in the deepest sense, therefore, consists of the alternating of brief existence and non-existence of the hypersurface. It is the Werner Heisenberg's duplex world which he defined as consisting of potentials and actualities, which we may correlate to the alternating real localized hypersurface and unreal non-localized "nothingness" h).

What Walter Heitler meant by undivided wholeness was this non-localized world which alternately appears and disappears with the real localized hypersurface.  When the localized real hypersurface dissolves into the non-localized world, in a small fraction of second everything becomes entangled as undivided wholeness before the real world (hypersurface) reappears.  Hugh Everett interpreted this perpetual alternation of brief existence and non-existence of the hypersurface as there are out there "many worlds."

The gross sum of the alternating contribution of the world of potentials and actualities is described mathematically by the wavefunction. As the quantum observation can only gauge and record the world of actualities and not the complete series of potentials and actualities, it gives a perception as though the act of observation makes the wavefunction collapse and the real world emerge. It is another misleading Copenhagen interpretation which states that the reality is created by observation.

However, it is not all. The 4-dimensional spacetime which embeds the 3-dimensional hypersurface we live in is not unique. The spontaneous symmetry breaking did not happen only once but in series from the highest dimensional spacetime down to the lowest 3-dimensional hypersurface.  As such, there exist out there a grand cosmos consisting of our world in the "center" embedded consecutively within higher and higher dimensional ambient spacetimes up to "infinite" i). The 10-dimensional world has a special place in the grand cosmos as its dimensions allow the 4-dimensional world to have a full degree of freedoms.

This theory which we call the grand relativity theory will positively impact profoundly on human thinking about reality. For centuries people wrongly believing that the tiniest particles in nature are permanent, which is not the case. A grand paradigm shift is required.  A bunch of matter which we think will turn into  persistent and permanent fundamental particles in case we continually divided it into smaller and smaller parts, are in fact ephemeral, hardly existing, appearing and disappearing perpetually to and fro energy at the pace equal to the speed of light, a weird picture which is far from what most people imagine.

Notes:
a.    Einstein gave vicious circle reasoning: "... the non-divisibility of the 4-dimensional continuum of events doesn't at all, however, involve the equivalence of the space coordinates with the time coordinate. On the contrary, we must remember that the time coordinate is defined physically wholly differently from the space coordinates."
b.  At that time, space and time were not yet differentiated, and the locality did not have any meaning. The world was still in the state of entangled as an undivided wholeness where non-locality prevailed.
c.      It is more appropriate to refer to it as action, the union of energy and time, Et.
d.     The ancients seemed to be aware of the existence of such a primordial world which they called cosmic egg where chaos prevailed.
e.     Physicists consider this phenomenon is wrongly interpreted as Big Bang, a primeval explosion that marked the beginning of the expanding universe.
f.      We use the 3-dimensional space, hypersurface or hyperinterface interchangeably.
g.   The interplay of the positive and negative energy at the opposite sides of the hypersurface creates quantum fields across through its surface igniting quantum sparks ("quarks") which we perceive as fundamental particles.
h.  Just like a roll film of the movie consisting of a series of pictures separated by gaps of "nothingness," the reality consists of the real localized world (hypersurface) and the potential non-localized world of nothingness.
i.    The gross sum of a composite spectrum of higher dimensional energies (eons) which can be expressed mathematically as the Laurent series and holomorphically mapped as Riemann sphere indicates that the dimensions of the outer ambient spacetime is limited and cannot be infinite.

Why the Grand Relativity Theory? (Part IV)

Our world is only shadows, mere projections from the reality beyond our ordinary space and time. Despite its apparent materiality and enormous size, the [3D]-space and its contents do not exist of itself. With its material contents, space perpetually appears and disappears at the rate equal to the speed of light, creating a dynamic dimension that we call time.

The world around us seems to persist because nobody can see the discontinuity of time, which interval is in the order of 10-44 seconds. What we recognize as the passage of time is nothing but the manifestation of the creation and annihilation of series of 1044 3D-space in a second a). Space is a series of spaces, one to the next, separated by a gap of nonexistence.

Within such a gap of nonexistence b), the locality no longer has any meaning. It manifests the undivided wholeness in which all become united and entangled. At such non-locality, the speed limit does not have any sense as no matter, and even light exists, only energy does.

The nonexistence is far from being a vacuum state. It is a plenum full of energy, the ground for all existence, inanimate and animate beings. The matter is merely an ephemeral derivative of energy perpetually created and annihilated under the interaction of the opposite positive and negative energy c).
The sequence locality and non-locality (Figure-1) taking place in a series at the rate equal to the speed of light fashions the passage of time. As the quantum measurement can only take the snapshot of the existence and not the whole series of the existence-nonexistence, it gives us perception as though the act of measurement collapses the wavefunction d).

The successive transformation of the local and nonlocal orders is, therefore, not in point-to-point correspondence. It is the underlying probabilistic feature of quantum mechanics against the classical deterministic mechanism.

In a grander picture of the cosmos, this dynamic, temporary space is like a front-wave propagating at the speed of light across an unimaginably vast ocean of high energy (Figure-2). This front-wave perpetually rises and dissipates above and below the level of the surface of the sea.
In Bohm’s notion, this dynamic phenomenon is called the unfoldment of the implicate order and enfoldment of the explicate order e), like what implies in the hologram f). According to Bohm 1, the universe is like a kind of sizeable dynamic hologram or holo-movement.

It is only at this wave structure (unfolded order) that every materialized thing is localized. In this front-wave, the universe where we live, the local order implies. It is what we call the present time, its surrounding surface, and the vast ocean beneath it, is nonlocal (enfolded order) g).

This super-implicate order is the foundation that has given birth to everything in our universe. This infinite sea of energy must contain every configuration of created matter, energy, and more sophisticated forms of energy, i.e., information (knowledge), consciousness, intelligence, and life h). We may visualize those as multilayer grand cosmos, each layer representing an individual universe is embedded one within another, in successively higher and higher dimensions (Figure-3) i).
What the fantastic thing is that the working of the universe seems to conform to that of the human brain. Karl Pribram 2, a neurophysiologist at Stanford University, discovered the brain works under the hologram mechanism j). He concluded that if the brain works following the holographic model, then so does the universe.

The world around us was just an illusion. The universe and everything within existing only in a series of a fraction of seconds successively separated by gaps of nonexistence. Notwithstanding, as both the brain and cosmos work at the same mechanism and rhythm, we the human being feel at home as we are unaware of experiencing such weird underlying reality.

This grand relativity theory is the theory of everything in its proper meaning.

[The end of the series]

Notes:

a. There is no such [material] thing that persists in nature. Everything "within" space perpetually appears and disappears "through" time, except the energy which alone continues. The persistence of matter and space is just an illusion.
b.  In the state of nonexistence, everything dissolves into energy. As such, space and time have no meaning; the nonlocal order implies.
c.  Energy as everything else in nature is the blending of its opposing parts, the positive and negative energies as implicitly expressed in the relativistic energy equation E2=m2c4+p2c2. The 4D-spacetime is split into two sections as the positive and negative energies globally segregating from each other. The interface of opposing energies is the 3D-hypersurface (3D-space) on which their interactions create particles. This interaction occurs as the quantum fields generated by the opposite energies piercing through the interface igniting quantum sparks ("quarks") we perceive as particles.
d.    The wavefunction describes the gross sum of the manifestation of local-nonlocal orders mathematically. All the laws of motion in quantum mechanics correspond to enfoldment and unfoldment. Bohm put forward that the propagator (Green's function) determines the relation between the wavefunction at one time and its form at another time.
e.  Our current concepts of order, which have lasted for centuries, are based on Descartes's ideas, who introduced coordinate systems to describe the order in the physical process. The Cartesian grid and those of curvilinear coordinates essentially described a local order of separate points. However, the quantum realm doesn't take this kind of local order and seems to have no significant order which Bohm called implicit or enfolded order. This kind of nonlocal order is what hologram does have.
f.  The enfolded order which applies within such a nonlocal unbroken wholeness is what David Bohm called the implicate order, taking the analogy of the "order" produced in a hologram where each of its regions makes possible an image of the whole object. Rather than being in point-to-point correspondence, the entire object is enfolded in each part of the universe. Our classical notions of localized order imply in spacetime arise as limiting cases of the deeper implicate order. The manifest level of everyday experience and the quantum level underlying it emerges from a still deeper implicate level in which the classical Cartesian notions of form, order, and structure have more or less dissolved. Bohm believed that the implicate order would be more suitable for expressing the fundamental laws of nature than the explicate order, which is only a particular case of the general rule.
g.  Bohm described the universe as a comparatively small pattern of excitation. It is a ripple on the infinite ocean of energy, which is a deeper order enfolded in the warp of reality. Bohm failed to elucidate his idea more explicitly by describing geometrically i.e., the relative number of dimensions of the ripple vis-a-vis that of the ocean of energy. People blame his description of the universe in terms of implicate and explicate order to be merely a metaphor.
h. We may call all of the later (information, consciousness, intelligence, and life) energy but in different degrees of sophistication (dimensions). Nothingness in the sense of an absolute term in which it is devoid of matter and energy or anything else, emptiness, vacuum, absolute nonexistence, or whatever you call it is just pure human imagination.
i.  The dimensions shown in the figure are relative. We should bear in mind that each of those individuals (energy, information, consciousness, intelligence, and life) may have different levels of existence and, those, the variety of their dimensions.
j.   He found that memories do not localize at specific brain side but somehow spread out throughout the brain. Every part of the brain contains all the information necessary to recall a whole memory, just like the hologram of which every small fragment of a piece of holographic film contains all the information recorded on the whole.

Energy, Spacetime and Riemann Sphere

The ultimate goal of the special relativity theory, if we are aware of, is the unification of the spacetime and energy. The union of these two would reveal the reality of energy which differs entirely from what we used to think about. Energy is a substance whose geometrical structure is reflected by the dimensionality of its spacetime.

Our ordinary [four-dimensional] spacetime is the physical manifestation of the energy whose vibrations are four-dimensional. As a [three-dimensional] human being we can only perceive this pure energy through its superficial three-dimensional aspect. Many underlying higher-dimensional ambient spaces which physicists have discovered, as they are adventuring deeper and deeper into the micro-world realms, are nothing but the reflections of various hyper-vibrations energies.

The relativity theory demonstrates that energy as a whole is inherently composed of positive and negative energies, as implicitly expressed in the relativistic energy equation E2 = m2c4 + p2c2. The segregation of its opposite parts that resulted in the split of energy created a 3-hypersurface (space) between the two halves of its separated respective spacetime. The world was not created through the "big" tiny bang bursting out of nothing.

In the quantum realm, energy as a wave can be described proportionally to its frequency as expressed by the Planck equation, E=hv.  We can express the energy, not only microscopically but also macroscopically, in term of the wavefunction whose character is completely holistic and non-local. However, the more natural way for us to grasp, is to express it in a periodic function such as a Fourier series a) or its complex form: the Laurent series b).

In the relativistic framework, we map events in a complex plane where we express time in term of an imaginary variable. In such a plane, we have a Laurent series written as:
f(z) = F+(z) + c0 + F–(z),
which is a wave function expressed as the sum of its positive frequency (F+(z)) and negative frequency (F–(z)). Physically, the constant term c0 represents the real space at t=0 (the present now). This c0, wholly or partially, becomes either the part of F+(z) or F–(z) or maybe both. However, as there is only positive energy, at least in this corner of the world where we live in, the space (c0) should be part of the positive ocean of energy, F+(z), and on the other side of the world it should be part of negative ocean of energy, F-(z).

Geometrically, we can figure out this more clearly in terms of the Riemann sphere, the stereographic projection of the complex plane. On this sphere, we can transform the real axis (X) of the complex plane into a circle located on the equator, while the imaginary time coordinate (it) by the longitudinal circles. The positive frequency F+(z) extends holomorphically into the southern hemisphere, and the negative frequency F–(z) extends holomorphically into the northern hemisphere (Figure 1).
From this description, we have a complete similarity between that of purely mathematical geometry with the relativistic (Minkowski) spacetime geometry (Figure 2 A and B). The real circle on the Riemann sphere represents the 3-hypersurface (space) in the Minkowski 4-spacetime which separates it into two 4-halves. The positive energy segregates to one half, and the negative energy segregates to the other half of the spacetime. We can These two halves are respectively represented by the southern and northern hemispheres on the Riemann sphere. The real circle on the Riemann sphere and the hypersurface in the Minkowski spacetime, each represents the loci of all matters which may exist in the whole universe.

With this simple mathematical representation, we can have a deeper insight into how nature may work. As we have figured out previously, the real circle in the Riemann sphere represents the space, and the imaginary circle represents the time path. As time passes by along the imaginary circle, space (real circle) is rotating accordingly along the time direction (imaginary circle). As time flows resemble electric current, space is also rotating on its plane following the right-hand rule. The rotation of this space as a whole rotates, in turn, all celestial bodies from the super-galaxies down to galaxies, solar systems, and the earth.
